Coaching with Miranda Allyn Horsemanship

The first thing I love to embrace with clients is, it's okay to not feel okay. I understand the intimidation, women especially, may feel when getting back in the saddle after some time off from prioritizing other responsibilities in life. Or even fears that like to take over after a bad wreck. I’ve been there, I’m here for you, we got this.

I have a strong passion for personal development, and enjoy helping coach other equestrians to work through fears, and limiting beliefs, and create powerful visions and goals for what’s right for them. If you’re interested in virtual one-on-one coaching, let me know!

As a horsemanship coach, I help horse owners increase their confidence, communication, and leadership with their horses through first teaching about the psychology of the horse, then a series of groundwork exercises that help to not only gain control of the mind and 5 main body parts (head, neck, shoulders, ribcage, hindquarters) but how to utilize the horse’s psychology to your advantage to communicate in a way that is easy and natural for them to understand. This in turn is the quickest way to build that relationship with your horse.

Discussing Groundwork

This clip is from a horsemanship presentation where I am discussing the importance of groundwork to not only turn on the thinking side of the horse's brain but to also gain control of the 5 main body parts.

Disengaging the Hindquarters

This is the #1 exercise every horse owner must know and is the first exercise I teach in all my clinics and horses I work with.

This video clip is from one of my clinics where I am discussing how to disengage the hindquarters on your horse.

Horses Need a Sense of Purpose

This clip is from a horsemanship presentation where I am discussing that horses need a sense of purpose, and why keeping it simple makes everything easier. Horsemanship is NOT Rocket Science.
